Copy Writing Lead - Advertising Firm

- The candidate will be responsible for content and campaigns for a varied clientele accounts

- Participate in and often lead brainstorming sessions

- Work with key stakeholders to develop accurate deliverable and timelines for projects

- Write rationales in support of your work, review and edit the work of other copywriters and up to date on copywriting trends, principles, tools and techniques in order to provide the best work for our clients.

- The candidate will have prior experience in not just copywriting but also leading a team of copywriters, where she/he/they are trusted to review the work of other copywriters as well as teaching, mentoring and developing them as writers.

- Can distill marketing challenges, Interpret account briefs, and business goals down into focused creative briefs

- Can work backwards from briefs shared by internal and external stakeholders and turn them into innovative concepts to guide the team towards a common goal

- Problem solving skills akin to meeting team's project deadlines

- Guide the copywriting team in synergies with client asks and internal team's inputs

- Extensive research, understanding client needs with an ability to tweak content based on target audiences

- Produce original, clear and credible ideas/messages/scripts, and present these to clients and colleagues

- Updating and amend campaigns according to feedback

- Work independently and with a team to meet deadlines

Location - Chennai, currently flexible on location.
