- Copywriter is expected to have a strong understanding of the English language, impeccable grammar and marketing communication.
- Copywriters must understand the client's brief; the concept determines the style and character of the ad. The role involves being part of a team within which he/she will be expected to take ownership of projects, throughout the creative and production cycles. Experience in writing for social media and blogs is a must!
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Familiarizing themselves with the brands, product, target audience and competitor activities in the market
- Writing copy for social media posts, paid media, blogs, video scripts and edms
- Understanding clients' briefs and giving them a creative twist
- Brainstorming and experimenting with different ideas/ copy styles to come up with fresh content
- Developing social media calendars, blog calendars, content pillars and campaign strategy
- Revising or redeveloping posts or campaigns in response to feedback from clients or from the internal creative team
- Writing various copy options which may be presented to the client as a storyboard
- Proofreading and carrying out quality checks
