This is the Copy Head position, reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer of the organisation. Below is the JD for the role.
Job title: Copy Head
Role in a line: Lead the copy team to deliver concepts and copy for the organisation
Responsibilities:
- Interpret briefs to develop concepts for communications
- Understand business needs and devise communication that can be understood easily by the end target audience
- Write original copy and edit content for a range of marketing and communications materials
- Present copy concepts and final deliverables to internal team
- Revise copy based on feedback
Skills & Qualifications:
- 10+ years in copy role; atleast 2-3 years' experience as team lead
- Should be fluent in Hindi. English proficiency will be an added advantage
- Ability to work independently or with a team to meet deadlines
- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in journalism, English, communications, or related discipline
- Proofreading experience and experienced in copy writing
- Keen eye for detail
