Opportunity

Copal Amba is currently looking for dedicated and motivated individuals who have strong leadership, organizational and teamwork skills for its Strategic Advisory team based in Gurgaon.

Responsibilities:

Supporting our clients to develop results-driven strategies, including critical industry or market analyses, Company reports, Capital Structure / Liquidity Analysis, Trading comps, Transaction comps, Financial modeling, Competitive benchmarking and exploring organic and inorganic growth opportunities through in depth primary and secondary research

- Work closely with the client's commercial lending team, identify potential opportunities, and prepare the business case

- Prepare Pitch books and provide strategic insights on the Company

Provide strategic insights on the sector and the company and advise on how the company can leverage on its capital structure to maximize shareholders- value and grow organically or inorganically

Develop financial models (Cash flow models, M&A, LBO etc) and perform detailed financial analysis (historical performance review, financial forecast, Working capital analysis, FCF, Accretion-dilution, Headroom analysis, Indicative ratings analysis etc.)

Prepare detailed company presentations, industry reports, SWOT analysis, Competitive landscaping, and strategic rationale

- Able to work independently with clients from end to end and suggest innovative solutions

- Ability to manage expectations of senior bankers, onshore analysts and managers while working on projects simultaneously

- Conducting Quality control check of the outgoing reports/packs

- Demonstrate strength and experience in client/requestor relationship building and management, information/knowledge needs assessment

Required Background

- 3-5 years of experience in the similar profile

- Strong accounting and financial statement analysis skills with attention to detail

- Proficiency in writing reports and financial modeling techniques using Excel

- Expert in preparing presentation materials using Powerpoint, Word etc

- Excellent written and spoken communication skills

- Post Graduation in Finance or equivalent qualification like CFA

- Working knowledge of database like Bloomberg, Thomson, Capital IQ etc

- Client handling through regular email/calls
