Opportunity Copal provides ample opportunity to display expertise in every field. Copal is currently offering a position, based in Gurgaon. This position will provide a platform to learn rapidly market or industry-based subject matter. The candidate needs to have skill-set for financial analysis and information processing for companies in banking sector, for a leading credit rating agency

Responsibilities

- Sourcing the relevant information i.e. banks- financial data from various sources

- Analyzing and inputting the banks- financial statements and other descriptive information in model / platform

- Analysis of financial statements will include Income Statement, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow Statement of public and private companies across the globe; knowledge of US GAAP, IFRS or any other accounting standard will be an added advantage

- Analysis will require in-depth knowledge of financial statements and key ratio analysis for banks

- Conducting detailed Quality Checks of junior team members, if required

- Ability to meet deadlines with quality output

- Ability to work independently and in the team

Required Background / skills

- MBA (Finance) / CFA / CA / Commerce graduates from top tier colleges / institutes

- Experience of 2- 4 years in financial statement analysis for Banks and their use in excel models

- Hands on experience of analytical tools / applications is preferred

- Good knowledge of MS office (specially MS excel)

- Good attention to detail, analytical ability and problem solving skills
