COO- Techno Commercial/ Finance

This is to explore an opportunity for COO- Techno Commercial with our EPC Client based at Mumbai.

Required : CA - Must

- International Project experience must.

- CA with minimum 16 years of experience in Techno finance Activity, Must have worked in Large Manufacturing / EPC Companies and have managed P&L for the division/ department.

- Sizeable experience in managing finance & accounts/ commercial functions for overseas businesses will be an advantage.

- Strong team leader/player, training, guiding and motivating teams of professionals towards maximum productivity with exceptional consensus building, negotiation and interpersonal skills, analytical mind and comprehensive problem detection/ solving abilities.

- Good business sense and Critical Analytical thinking, attitude to accept new challenges and learn.

Role dimensions :

Business focus and partnering :

- He is expected to work hard in getting up to speed, especially if coming from a different industry, develop a strong grip on all facets of the business in a short span and be a dynamic business partner.

- The foremost responsibility of the Techno-Commercial Activities will be responsible for financial risk assessment, growing the business profitability, tax planning and improving control mechanism.

- The position will report to the Head of International Business and work closely with him on all counts like JV formation, risk mitigation, stream-lining the taxation procedures in respective countries, strategies for business growth.

- Top and bottom-line monitoring

- Mentor for commercial managers across the countries

- Closely work with regional Country Head and Construction head

- A good aptitude of manufacturing-led contracting, tendering, return-on-capital

- Shall able to analyze business operations, trends, costs, revenues, financial commitments, and obligations, to project future revenues and expenses and to provide advice the management as and when required. Recommends yearly budget and prudently manages organization's resources within those budget guidelines according to current laws and regulations

Accounting and Finance :

- The central finance team will assist the Head in fund-related activities including costing, zero-budgeting, assessment of collections and cash-flow.

- He will ensure compilation of all accounts and consolidate balance sheet on quarterly, half yearly and annual basis.

- He will ensure that accountancy standards are followed as per local books of accounts

- Deal with local consultants on a regular basis to maintain legal compliance and adherence to statutory compliance norms.

Project tracking and Control :

- He shall periodically visit international project sites on need basis to understand complexities and take appropriate actions.

- He will closely track the progress of each project from its cost and time-line

- He will be involved in the operations, logistics, finance, IT, consolidation, and systems management of every project site and add value to it.
