COO/General Manager - Operations - Manufacturing/Chemical Industry

Job Profile / Expectations (GM Operations / COO)

1. Oversee all operations and business activities to ensure they produce the desired results and are consistent with the overall strategy

2. Lead and motivate the team to advance employee engagement, develop a high performing managerial team

3. Develop high-quality business strategies and plans along with budgets and ensuring that they are in-line with short-term and long-term objectives, for consideration by the board and, to the extent approved by the board, implementing these plans, budgets and strategies

4. An entrepreneurial mindset with outstanding leadership skills

5. People-centric nature and strong team leadership quality

6. Ensuring that the board is provided with sufficient information on a timely basis regarding to the organization, its operations, business

7. Provide management oversight and delegate responsibility across the organization to ensure the effective and efficient functioning of the organization;

8. Provide strong and clear leadership internally to the organization and its people and externally to the organization's stakeholders

9. Must be able to foresee an opportunity and capture the same and ensure benefits of it to the organization

10. Must be able to work methodically with clear goals and roadmaps for execution of targets and goals
