We are a medium sized, rapidly growing global risk consulting company. Since our inception in 1975, we have worked with more than 5,000 clients in over 135 countries worldwide.

We are looking to hire a permanent-full time Marketing Executive for the India business, and the position will be based in Delhi. This position will report into the regional marketing director for the Asia Pacific region.

Job purpose: To support the India and South Asia business in expanding its profile in key industry sectors and with clients via a strategic programme of targeted marketing events, materials and other channels.

Tasks and responsibilities:

- To support the India offices in all their marketing activities.

- To create, with the support of the Regional Asia Pacific Marketing Director and the company's India senior management team, a strategic, actionable marketing plan.

- To develop and manage a calendar of events, both internal and external, which will support the strategic marketing plan.

- Using best practice marketing techniques, identify and execute multi-channel campaigns to deliver key messages

- Identify and qualify external events of relevance to the company, negotiate sponsorships deals, and manage engagement with the event organisers.

- Plan, manage and deliver all internal events including venue selection, budget management, attendee list, invitations, collateral and post-event follow-up.

- Actively work with regional and global marketing teams and business development teams to leverage campaigns wherever appropriate.

- Monitor global initiatives (outside India), such as webinars, conference calls and other events, to ensure the correct clients are targeted and supported per event.

- In collaboration with the global and regional communications teams, develop relationships with key press outlets and reporters to provide greater public relations exposure for the company.

- In line with the Asia Pacific strategic marketing plan, identify key trade associations and professional bodies which the company should engage with and manage those relationships to obtain maximum value.

Qualifications and specialist skills:

Required:

- Good writing skills and command over the English language.

- Experience in organising professional events.

- Proven experience providing strategic marketing advice, preferably in the consulting sector.

- Detailed knowledge of the Indian business environment.

- Ability to create and manage marketing budgets effectively.

- Understanding of the risk management and/or professional services sector.

- Creative bent of mind

- Post graduate degree/diploma in Marketing/Communications/Public relations/business administration or related discipline from a reputed institution.

- Minimum work experience of 3 years in a marketing and/or communications role.

Desired:

- Knowledge of the Indian media and contacts within key publications/TV.

Competencies and behaviours:

- Strong project management and time management skills with an ability to manage multiple tasks.

- Possess a strong team spirit

- Be self-motivated with a high level of initiative and drive

- Ability to work under time pressures

- Strong attention to detail
