Contrast Capital Management - Analyst - Investment Research

Contrast Capital Management LLC, is an investment management firm based in the United States. The firm manages hedged funds as well as long only international equity strategies. Contrast has built an outstanding performance track record and investment process. In order to spur the next phase of its growth, Contrast is seeking an Analyst to support its Investment Research, Marketing and Compliance efforts. The role will be remote based in India, where Contrast has successfully employed staff for many years. The firm currently has a Senior Analyst & Associate Portfolio Manager based in Bangalore. Contrast Capital's lead Portfolio Manager and a large portion of the investment prospects are based in the U.S. As a result, the role will require meaningful overlap with U.S. business hours. The Analyst will be active in areas including:

Investment Research

- Support factor ranking and fundamental company analysis

- Produce research reports and other materials

- Support trading and reconciliation tasks

Business Development/Marketing

- Identify and engage with valid prospects and obtain follow up meetings/calls

- Produce investor communications - presentations, etc.

- Update investor databases

Compliance and Operations

- Support Contrast Capital compliance program

- Ensure compliance testing requirements liaising with CCO

- Broadly support investment operations including trading and other

Experience:

- MBA from a top tier school (CFA a plus)

- 2+ years of experience in marketing and/or financial analysis/strategy

- Experience in cold and warm calling prospects in the U.S.

- Outstanding written and verbal communication, and interpersonal skills. Experience in engaging clients/prospects and digital marketing skills a plus

- Experience working in a financial environment

- Entrepreneurial spirit, strong project management and multitasking skills

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, working knowledge of creative software (Adobe) a plus
