Contrarian Drishti Partners - Investment Associate

Key responsibilities:

Actively lead end-to-end investment sourcing, evaluation, investment recommendation and portfolio management processes in close collaboration with the Partners.

Specific responsibilities include:

- Taking initiative to form sectoral thesis and source startups within the Fund's Investment theme

- Review of investment memorandums, financial statements etc.

- Financial modeling / valuation

- Business due diligence including site visits

- Drafting term sheets and investment recommendations

- Coordinating financial, legal and tax due diligence

- Finalizing transaction documents

- Initiating and drafting portfolio review notes

What we are looking for:

- Qualified Chartered Accountant or MBA from a top tier institution

- 2-4 years experience in VC/Investment Banking roles

- Excellent research, quantitative and presentation skills

- Strong financial modeling skills

- Ability to work in a small team with good inter-personal, written and verbal communication skills

- Diligent, inquisitive, with the ability to take ownership of a task

- Enthusiasm for meeting entrepreneurs and evaluating business models
