Contract Manager - IT Agreements - Services Firm

JOB TITLE: Contract Manager

POSITION SUMMARY:

Leading service based company is seeking Contract Manager to work within a team and to be responsible for managing the contract lifecycle between a client and their Service Providers on behalf of the client. The contract Manager will work closely with the internal team and client teams and would be responsible for all the activities with the contract management discipline.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

- Overall responsibility of Contract Management

- Understand & implement Contract Lifecyle Management services (CLMS) processes

- Review, negotiate and initiate contracts s directly with Service Providers on behalf of clients

- Review/ Vetting of legal contracts and documents via.: Software License and Support Agreements, Service Agreements, ADM Agreements, IT Agreements, EUC Agreements, Non-Disclosure Agreements, etc.

- Establish or adjust CLMS processes for deals of high revenue

- Manage the contract on a daily basis, drafting of contracts, contract abstraction

- Ensure the engagement's deliverable tracking process and system complies with the contract. Identify non-compliance issues and support their resolution

- Perform contract research and address client queries around complex IT Agreements

- Manage and review contract changes, new work proposals and other contractual documentation

- Provide Contract Negotiation support in the form of bids, supplier negotiation, contract research, review and analysis

- Manage legal notices, approvals, consents and other correspondences related to the contract

- Assist in the development of process improvement strategies to the contract lifecycle process for the team

REQUIREMENTS:

- Fluent in French

- Bachelor's Degree or Master's degree in Business or Law

- Min 2-5 years experience in corporate law as a Contract Manager

- Experience in negotiating IT contracts directly with clients including review, drafting and research

- Excellent analytical abilities to grasp the key points from complicated details

- Financial analytic and business case experience is a plus

- Familiar with CLMS tools is a plus

Fluency in French is Mandatory
