JOB PURPOSE

What is the main purpose or objective of the job; and what will it contribute to the overall business of the company.

The primary objective of this role is to effectively monitor, control and support the smooth functioning of Content Management and Question Paper Delivery teams, this role will be instrumental in flawless and on- time delivery of exams conducted by ORGANIZATION across different line of Businesses like Government, Public Sector Unit, Education, Vocational and Corporate. Regularly enrich Question Bank in a wide range of domains under Engineering, Diploma, ITI, Management, BFSI, Medical, Paramedical and technology. Keeping abreast of various developments in the examination segment, monitor business demand and enable business to commit on key sales opportunities.

Providing effective leadership and guidance to the entire team involved in development and delivery of Content forORGANIZATION by - formulating operating strategy, coaching of people, innovating efficient processes with the effective use of technology.

Nurturing a ready-to-use talent pool of 1000+ freelance SMEs spread across wide range of domains - e.g. Engineering, ITI, Management, Banking, Medical, Paramedical, Vocational, IT and Humanities. Regular coaching and performance feedback to experts are essential element of this role.

Ensuring continuous statistical analysis of examination responses and corresponding rectification/refurbishing thereof. Thus, sanitizing the intellectual assets resulting into consistent test design for a scientific outcome of assessment.

CRITICAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

List the critical accountabilities that must be achieved in order that the job purpose is fulfilled.

Demand Side Interface:

1. Keep gathering information from Project Managers/Account Managers and keep fine tuning content repository.

2. Interact with sales/client for value addition to ensure better test design and consequently effective hiring.

3. Suggest presales/client to design a test template for any new corporate assessment.

4. Enabling client to counter any content related representations from test takers or public at large.

Supply Side Interface:

1. Set qualifying criteria of SMEs for different levels of content development in various domains - e.g. Engineering, ITI, Management, Banking, Medical, Paramedical, Vocational, IT and Humanities.

2. Formulate a stringent mechanism to evaluate the competence of aspiring SMEs and put that to practice.

3. Ensure 100% compliance of onboarding process and avoid any untoward incident in future.

4. Monitor active SME pool to proactively alert for sourcing and thus avoid untoward shortfall in servicing project requirement.

Delivery Excellence:

1. Ensure only competent experts are engaged for content development.

2. Monitor the progress of content development activities and ensuring adherence of all processes and no time over-run

3. Assess the trend in content demand and proactively arrange to develop content on a regular basis for off-the-shelf use

4. Nurture a pool of quality SMEs and ensure optimum utilization to ensure good and long term relationship.

5. Ensure on time payment to SMEs and Vendors and other service providers to maintain their interest level.

6. Enable operational excellence by leveraging Technology.

7. Ensure strict adherence to laid down process and bring in continuous improvement in process.

8. Work with department heads to obtain necessary resources to support the overall success of delivery.

Item Analysis:

1. Identify a mechanism to statistically analyze items based on test responses.

2. Study the outcome of item analysis with minutest details.

3. Work with SMEs and implement the rectification/refurbishing inferred.

4. Sanitize the item bank and continuously monitor through item analysis.

5. Suggest best test template with the help of item statistics.

6. Improve upon suggested template based on item analysis and test results.

Coaching, Mentoring and Academic Excellence:

1. Guide the Content Quality Team (CQT) to deal with challenges in diverse subject and domains - e.g. Engineering, ITI, Management, Banking, Medical, Paramedical, Vocational, IT and Humanities.

2. Coach team members (CQT) on item review and finalization of content relating diverse set of subjects and domains.

3. Coach the SME Engagement Team (SET) members on identifying suitable SMEs from the pool for any specific project assignment.

4. Coach Content Delivery team members for strict adherence of processes and optimize team bandwidth.

KEY SUCCESS FACTOR

How is the success in the position measured?

1. Engagement / Relationship building with SMEs - No default content assignment

2. Improved quality of content: Zero error.

3. Continuously build intellectual asset: Procurement of 3000 Items every month

4. Accuracy of the test design and delivery - Zero Error

MAJOR CHALLENGES

1. Basic knowledge and fair understanding of diverse domains - e.g. Engineering, ITI, Management, Banking, Medical, Paramedical, Vocational, IT and Humanities.

2. Base content is developed by the freelance experts, hence many a time exercising firm control on them becomes a challenge.

3. Since the engagement of experts is only need based, conversion from sourcing to empanelment is low.

4. Rarely industry experts show interest in developing content for exams.

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & COMPETENCIES

What are the minimum entry-level requirements for the job, in terms of

Qualification and Experience:

1. Qualified graduate in Engineering and Management studies with an experience of leading both academics and industrial setup.

2. Hands-on experience in item design is a must.

3. Experience of about 15+ yrs. in developing and delivering selection based items for high stake public exams.

4. Experience of about 5+ years in leading operations and delivery of complex process in corporate/industrial setup.

Skills and Knowledge:

1. Should carry good understanding on educational system - programs and subjects/courses offered.

2. Having Knowledge about various competitive exams of India and overseas.

3. Excellent Presentations skills, communication skills and organizing skills.

4. Extremely good at Planning, organizing and Execution

5. Demonstrates the understanding, appreciation and application of technical and business knowledge in Technology (any), IT Security, Storage, Cloud, etc.

6. Ability to analyze, learn, anticipate, identify and resolve problems, and make logical judgments.

7. Proficiency in MS office/EXCEL is a must.
