Role:
- We are looking for a senior resource to manage all online content and communication we create for our business including website content, blogs, newsletters, and social media content.
- Responsibilities include creating the content strategy and managing the team that will deliver content for different digital channels.
- The head of content will also be responsible for analyzing the content performance, user engagement and make changes as required.
- You will also need to ensure that the content created aligns with the brand and adds value to existing and potential customers.
Responsibilities:
- Research about the brand, competition, and category and create a comprehensive content plan in line with the brand values.
- Ensure consistent brand voice across all brand channels and pieces of communication.
- Manage the editorial calendar to ensure timely publication on all digital channels.
- Work with the SEO team to understand customer's needs and ensure implementation in content created.
- Monitor web traffic and engagement (e.g. conversions and bounce rates) basis content created and make course corrections.
- Coordinate and collaborate with marketing and design teams to ensure high-quality output.
- Follow industry-related news and generate ideas around trending topics.
- Review and update published content as needed, identify gaps and make recommendations accordingly.
Key Skills:
- Proven work experience as a Content Strategist, Content Writer or similar role.
- A portfolio of the published content.
- Understanding of different content types eg. UX writing, Blogs, social content, etc.
- Familiarity with SEO guidelines and keyword research tools (e.g. Moz and Google Keyword Planner).
- Experience using social media for business.
- Solid writing and editing skills in English.
