Content/Copy Writer - Internet/Online

This role will support the brand team in producing new content for various paid, owned, and earned channels. Content / Copy Writer should be able to provide interesting content and stories on a continuous basis. Should be able to work independently as well as coordinate with creative designers, web developers, freelance writers or agency. The content of the channels under management is grammatically and factually correct at all times. Contribute to the new player communication ideas, as well as existing player communication ideas through Emails, Website messaging, Newsletters, Articles, Social Media, SMS, etc.

Detailed description:

- Build an ongoing activity calendar for regular content dissemination in discussion with brand manager.

- Liaising with brand manager in interpreting the campaign brief.

- Developing creative ideas and concepts, in partnership with the brand manager and cre-ative deisgn head.

- Understanding the target audience and their behaviour.

- Writing clear, persuasive, original copy.

- Proofreading copy to check spelling and grammar.

- Amending, revising or redeveloping adverts or campaigns in response to feedback from the brand head.

- Overseeing campaigns through the production stage to completion.

- Monitor the progress of content effectiveness through regular reports.

- Writing ad-copies, press releases, emails, web site content, landing page content, blog content, tweets, Facebook comments, ads, google ad copies etc.

- Publish new content that is highly shareable and discussion worthy. E.g.: Blog entries, In-fographics, Images, Press Releases, Newsletters, articles.

- Working on several campaigns at once, sometimes under pressure and often to tight deadlines.

- Keeping up to date with popular culture and trends.

- Monitoring the effectiveness of advertising campaigns.

Salary Range: 10-25 LPA
