Job Description
- Candidate will be involved in pitching and presenting at boardroom level. This could include presentations on business opportunities in agribusiness and other related businesses.
- Main area of focus will be to generate new leads with the aim of creating new concepts.
- It also involves scheduling appointments, preparing and delivering presentations to the board, having researched various business verticles and requirements.
- Work on sales developmental activities.
Key skills and qualifications:
- A degree or equivalent qualification is recommended, but a proven background in business development will be sufficient.
- An MBA in business development / Finance
- A proven track record in strong presentation skills is essential in the role of Business Developer.
- Strong research and strategic analysis skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written and be able to discuss with potential clients with confidence.
- Skilled at agreeing and closing deals with clients.
- Excellent organisational skills are essential as well as performance monitoring will be a requirement.
- Must be able to operate Microsoft Office and associated programs.
- In short, Good business sense, A deep understanding of marketing principles, Good communication skills, A positive attitude, Negotiation skills and Plenty of initiative.
EXPERIENCE OF AGRICULTURE IS A PLUS
