Consumer Business Development Manager - Channel Sales & Distribution - FMCG
Responsibilities:
- Develop and build new business for McCormick India consumer business in collaboration with distribution partner.
- Ensure that an effective distribution network is set up in line with the company / brand Strategy and work very closely with distribution partner and their sales force. Define & communicate coverage norms and ensure implementation as per the guidelines.
- Develop distributors to channel partners to improve and build on business hygiene elements like inventories, sales etc.
- Develop overall commercial & business case for the qualified launch ideas for India consumer business.
- Lead product innovation (NPL and NPD) for the McCormick portfolio of brands /products while collaborating closely with the Insights team, Commercialization manager (process manager), R&D, Sales, Factory, Finance and other cross functional teams as needed.
- Build the commercial launch plan for aligned ideas, translate brand elements into plans and go-to-market strategies.
- Work in collaboration with marketing team for Paid media execution such as FB, IG, Google, Programmatic Media, Influencers, Ecommerce media to drive the most effective and efficient results
Desired Skills/ Qualifications:
- MBA in Sales & Marketing.
- 10+ years consumer products marketing and sales experience, preferably FMCG Organizations.
- Prior experience working with MNC and on premium / imported brands / categories preferable.
