While remaining niche & highly specialized, they have also been very acquisitive into new sectors & disciplines which complement their current competencies. The competition in the marketplace consists of Big 4 Consulting firms and top-tier Strategic ones. Made up of the Industry's top Thought Leaders and working in pioneering new fields, they are now looking for the market's best Consultants to further push their proposition within the Environment, Products, Power, Energy and Fuels markets.

Job Description - This is a newly added position to a vigorous & an increasing Energy Practice. The role is full scope and will involve all classical aspects of Consulting - from Business Development, Sourcing and Execution through to Implementation.

The Successful Candidate - The successful individual will already have a very strong track record of success from a related firm or Energy industry where they will have accumulated top-tier best practice and sector knowledge. This person's academics will speak for themselves and ideally will have a very heavy Engineering slant. While studying they will have excelled in an academically rigorous environment but still also have held a range of extra-curricular posts & be a well rounded personality. This is key for the fitment into the firm's environment & culture. Over the last 10 years the successful candidate will have had exposure to a competitive marketplace & will have recent relevant familiarity with the usual suite firms that make up this space. For the first 6 to 7 years of their Consulting careers they should be able to demonstrate considerable success within all or nearly all aspects of the project life-cycle (including the writing of proposals) & then latterly be able to show very strong leadership & management experience over 2 to 3 years. Within the Energy Markets themselves, the ability to execute is utterly key, alongside strong sector knowledge and Business Development. Put simply, its the ""getting & implementing"" that will make this role a success.
