Consulting Manager - Energy & Utilities

Energy & Utilities. Look for people with experience in Power, Thermal, Solar - Generation, Transmission & Trading

- A minimum of 7-12 years of progressive business and consulting experience.

- Experience in a consulting firm, with extensive experience in projects in which the primary stakeholder was the ‘C’ suite executives

- The individual should have an understanding of the Global Utility sector– overall industry dynamics, issues, typical challenges faced by clients and an appreciation of operational aspects of the sector

- Extensive work experience in the Utility industry, across the value chain – generation, transmission, distribution and trading

- Project Feasibility

- Plant Operations and Maintenance – Improve plant operations practices, supply chain mgmt etc.

- Maintenance improvement practices etc.

- Overall industry dynamics and understanding of key trends affecting the industry

- Some understanding of Automation / IT in utilities

- Project management

- An excellent, established track record for selling and delivering consulting engagements.

- Experience working with “C” level executive clients

- An MBA from a Tier 1 B School
