Consultant - Wealth Management Operations

Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to join our team as a Wealth Management Operations Lead. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in wealth and portfolio management solutions, coupled with expertise in leveraging automation tools to enhance operational efficiency and deliver exceptional client experiences.

In addition, the candidate should possess comprehensive knowledge of relevant regulatory frameworks to ensure compliance in all operational aspects.

Responsibilities:

- Lead and oversee the wealth management operations, ensuring smooth and efficient processes across all aspects of wealth and portfolio management.

- Develop and implement strategies to optimize operational workflows, leveraging automation tools and technology solutions to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including investment advisors, Client Service teams, and technology specialists, to streamline operational processes and improve client service delivery.

- Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in wealth management operations, continually assessing and integrating new tools and methodologies to enhance operational capabilities.

- Act as a subject matter expert on regulatory requirements relevant to wealth management operations, ensuring adherence to all applicable rules and guidelines set forth by regulatory authorities. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational performance, mitigate risks, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards. Serve as a primary point of contact for internal and external audits, regulatory examinations, and compliance reviews, ensuring all operational processes and documentation meet regulatory requirements.

- Develop and maintain robust reporting mechanisms to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide regular insights to senior management on operational efficiency and effectiveness.

- Mentor and develop team members, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous learning within the operations team.

- Cultivate strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, regulatory authorities, and external vendors, to support the firm's operational objectives and strategic initiatives.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, or a related field; advanced degree or professional certification (e.g., CFA, CFP) preferred.

- Proven experience of more than 12 years in wealth management operations, with a focus on portfolio management solutions and operational excellence.

- Strong proficiency in leveraging automation tools and technology platforms to enhance operational efficiency and client experiences.

- Thorough understanding of regulatory requirements governing wealth management operations, including but not limited to SEBI, RBI, IFSCA and other relevant regulatory authorities.

- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with a keen attention to detail and accuracy.

- Exceptional leadership and team management abilities, with a track record of building and motivating high-performing teams.

- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
