Consultant/Sr Consultant - General Accounting & Journal Entries

JD for Consultant / Senior Consultant at Bangalore region

Key functions for this position are given below:

1. Experience in General accounting and journal entries

2. Has handled book keeping independently

3. Understanding of outstanding and provisions

4. Can understand requirement of accounting standard for the book keeping

5. Has worked on Tax deduction at source - deposit and filing quarterly returns on traces

6. Has worked on computing, depositing service tax and also filing service tax returns

Ideal Experience

1. MCom / MBA with 5-7 years of relevant experience in the book keeping, basic TDS work

2. Or BCom with 6-10 years of relevant experience

3. Experience of working in industry or a good consulting firm

4. Excellent computer skills, including Word and Excel & PowerPoint in a Microsoft Windows environment

5. Effective oral and written communication skills

6. Excellent interpersonal & organizational skills

Other Personal Characteristics

1. Reporting to Client's management

2. Reporting to Senior Manager and Managing Director

3. Able to exhibit a high level of confidentiality.

4. Must be able to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner.

5. Must be able to gather and analyze information skillfully.
