Job Description:
1) The solution design/presales team is a highly critical, specialized, and fast-growing team within whose primary responsibility is to be the growth driver of Services globally.
2) This team manages end-to-end sales cycle by playing a consultative role of understanding the client problem statements and designing the right type of service proposition that helps solve client problems.
3) Develop compelling proposals with right type of service mix and digital enablers and respond to RFPs / RFIs that we receive from global companies for procurement consulting and procurement outsourcing services
4) The end-to-end solution design / proposal development cycle includes the following:
- Summarizing client & requirements to executives
- Understanding client requirements and designing a winning strategy
- Coming up with a project plan to finalize responses within agreed timelines
- Creating responses to client questions, designing compelling power-point presentations and finalizing a package that is client ready
- Designing solutions that include staffing, pricing, margin and value propositions.
- Presenting solutions to the top management in a convincing way and driving consensus on the final solution
Key Responsibilities:
1. Be the primary contact / lead for the sales pursuits
2. Guide junior team members (Cons & Sr.Cons) on solution design, digital enablers, storyboarding and pricing
3. Should be capable of frequently thinking "out of the box" about client issues, and be able to develop compelling and innovative solutions thereby enriching the sales proposition
4. Manage senior stakeholders in obtaining their inputs and drive consensus with delivery teams and other stakeholders
5) Work on knowledge management initiatives such as maintaining a database of past pursuits, pricing data and benchmarks
