Consultant / Senior Consultant - Operations Consulting

Roles and Responsibilities:

- Management/Operations Consulting experience of 5 to 8 years

- Driving Cost Reduction / Profitability improvement / EBITDA improvement

- Process improvement

- Business transformation

- Asset Optimization

- Efficiency improvement

- OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) improvement

- Business Process Re-engineering

- Candidates with experience only in the industry would need to demonstrate experience in running improvement projects or consulting projects and cross-disciplinary exposure for a significant portion of their stint. Such candidates will typically be part of leadership development programs or from the internal strategy/operational improvement teams

- Should have excellent program/project management, communications, analytical, relationship development (particularly with senior industry leaders), change management and team management skills.

Ideal candidate should have experience in 2 or more of the following areas

Operations Strategy:

- Operating model design and implementation

- Strategy for Global Business services for Operations (non-finance functions)

- Manufacturing strategy formulation and implementation

Operations:

- Operations excellence (includes Asset optimization, Quality management, Lean process design/ process re-engineering)

- Managed services in Operations (running plant operations, procurement, supply chain function, etc.)

- Manpower optimization for both white & blue collar

Transformation:

- Business turnaround for loss making businesses

- End to end Transformation program - EBITDA improvement, conversion cost reduction, procurement cost reduction, manpower cost reduction, product portfolio rationalization, change management

- Digital operations transformation - use of emerging technologies in manufacturing such as IoT/ sensors, Analytics, AI/ ML for operational improvement

New facility set up & Diligence:

- Conceptualizing and setting-up green field and brown field manufacturing facilities and Operations system design

- Operational/ Technical Due Diligence and post deal value creation

Qualifications:

- BE/ BTech + MBA from Tier 1 Institutes.

- Post-graduates in Statistics, Data Sciences/ Analytics from leading institution with relevant domain experience could be considered.

Skill Sets Required:

- TPM

- TOC (Theory of Constraint)

- Asset Optimization
