Consultant / Senior Associate
The Edge Partnership is an Asia focused specialist recruitment business with 6 offices across 4 core locations in Hong Kong, India, Malaysia and Singapore. In India we have offices in Mumbai, Gurgaon and Bangalore and are seeing a significant increase in demand in HR / Banking and Finance / Risk and Technology functions within our multi-national client base.
In India we are looking to hire multiple positions at various levels for our India HR / Banking and Finance / Risk and Technology team. Depending on level of experience and interest, the role can be either delivery or business development focused or a blend of them both. For more experienced individuals the opportunity to manage a team across India also exists.
Responsibilities and expectations in the position :
- To be able to effectively source, identify and interview suitable candidates for vacancies
- To interview candidates on the phone and face to face and determine their suitability for vacancies
- To be able to head hunt non-active candidates effectively for vacancies
- The ability to generate new candidates through referrals
- The ability to generate - leads- from market information gathered from candidates interviews
- The ability to liaise effectively with clients on interview arrangements and interview feedback
- The ability to business develop with existing clients and develop relationships effectively
- To utilize the database effectively while searching and record keeping
- To closely adhere to The Edge database rules and requirements of use
- Confident communication skills face to face, via the telephone and in writing
- Work closely with team members and share relevant leads and candidates effectively
- To represent your colleagues and the company externally in the same manner to which you would expect them to represent yourself
Previous experienced required :
- 3+ years work experience, preferably either in recruitment or specific industry sector
- A stable employment background
- A proven track record in utilizing your initiative
- If previously in a sales role, a provable strong sales track record
- Good general IT skills
- Excellent communication skills in English
