Consultant - SAP JVA

JD:

- This individual will serve as an SAP Application Specialist, providing application functional consulting and implementation expertise in SAP Applications ECC 6, in the module area of JVA (Joint Venture Accounting)

- The SAP Application Specialist will be very knowledgeable in Oil and Gas Joint Venture Accounting with required SAP JVA product module/suite business processes, navigation mechanics, and configuration requirements and integration with other modules.

Responsibilities:

Implementation and Configuration:

- Lead the implementation and configuration of SAP JVA solutions, considering business requirements and industry standards.

- Configure SAP JVA modules to meet specific joint venture accounting needs. Collaboration with Stakeholders: Work closely with business stakeholders to understand their joint venture accounting processes and requirements.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration with other SAP modules and systems.

Customization and Enhancement:

- Customize and enhance SAP JVA functionalities to address specific business requirements.

- Develop and implement enhancements to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of joint venture accounting processes.

User Training:

- Provide training and support to end-users on SAP JVA functionalities. Create documentation and conduct knowledge transfer sessions to ensure users can effectively utilize the SAP JVA system.

Testing and Quality Assurance:

- Conduct thorough testing of SAP JVA configurations and customizations.

- Ensure the system meets quality standards and is free of errors.

- Collaborate with testing teams to perform end-to-end testing.

Requirements:

- Bachelors or Masters degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

- Proven experience as an SAP JVA Consultant, with a focus on Joint Venture Accounting processes within the oil and gas industry.

- In-depth knowledge of SAP JVA modules, including configuration, customization, and integration with other SAP modules.

- Strong understanding of joint venture accounting principles, industry regulations, and compliance requirements.

- Experience with SAP S/4HANA is highly desirable.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex business processes and propose effective SAP JVA solutions.

- Strong communication skills, with the ability to interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

- SAP certification in JVA is a plus.
