Job Description Principal Duties And Responsibilities: General Business Consulting - Can solve an unstructured problem where brief provided is minimum. Solves the problem by breaking down into structured modules. Follows fundamentals of issue-based problem solving - Can construct basic components of business case and value analysis eg. market share, Cost savings, costs under various heads, etc. - Can perform Research and Analysis of clients business, market, competitors and make appropriate inferences even if information available is insufficient. Can interpret data in context of industry and company specific issues - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Client and Project Management - Can work in both offshore and onshore project delivery model - Has strong project management skills and can own project management for module / part of a project - Works on client site with minimal supervision - Can work on client site (within & outside India) without supervision to deliver project objectives Communication - Has very strong written and verbal communication skills. Confidently communicates and articulates. Identifies, escalates, tracks and resolves issues in a timely manner Qualifications: - MBA from a Tier 1 Institute - Engineer from Tier 1 /Tier 2 Institute with practical exposure, experience and knowledge of the supply chain Experience: - Industry Expertise: Consumer Goods & Services refers to FMCG industry (Food & Beverages, Home & Personal Care, Alcobev, Tobacco, Agri-Business & similar industries) or Direct eCommerce - Total experience of more than 3 years (2-3 years of direct experience in the Consumer Goods industry eCommerce Operations or eCommerce Industry) is mandatory. - Management Consulting or functional/operational experience in at least 2 of the following domains is mandatory - Manufacturing & Digital Operations - Sales & Operations Planning, Demand Forecasting - Connected Transportation, Distribution & Logistics Management - Digital Transformation of Supply Chain - Control Tower Design & Value Realization Key Competencies and Skills: - Expert on eCommerce supply Chain Strategy and Operations - Deep understanding and experience of Demand Forecasting for eCommerce (incorporating promotions planning, event days, seasonality etc.) - Deep understanding and experience of Inventory planning and supply planning operations for eCommerce business - Experience of ecommerce order management Process - Experience of warehousing and logistics in ecommerce setup - Experience in reducing overall Supply chain costs for ecommerce - Understanding and experience of improving Supply Chain KPIs (i.e. Fill rate, On-shelf availability, inventory days etc.) - Understanding of Seller Flex model - Exposure to Vendor portals of leading eCommerce portals - Supply Chain Strategy development, Business Process Reengineering, Supply Chain Scenario Modelling & Analytics skills in - Innovation & Product Lifecycle Management - Manufacturing & Digital Operations - Sales & Operations Planning, Demand Forecasting - Connected Transportation, Distribution & Logistics Management - Digital Transformation of Supply Chain - Control Tower Design & Value Realization - Skills in supply chain methodologies/tools/technology is highly desirable - Lean Six Sigma, Supply Chain Network Modelling - Analytics & Planning tools/software
