Consultant - P&C Insurance Analytics

Consultant - Insurance Analytics; Technopark, Trivandrum

We have urgent openings with our esteemed client ('Fortune 20' company) in Technopark, Trivandrum for Consultants in P&C Insurance Analytics.

Role Description:

- The resource would be a key member of the Data Analytics team and would work in close collaboration with the Actuarial and Planning team in UK

- The candidate is expected to work on multiple analytics projects for General insurance related to Pricing, Claim Analysis and other analytical projects for the team.

- The candidate will be responsible for development, implementation and maintenance of Statistical models

- The candidate should be familiar with techniques like Linear Regression, Logistic Regression, GLM, Segmentation, Clustering, Text mining and Decision Trees.

- The role may involve independent analytical tasks or supporting senior team members as per project requirements

Skills and Experience:

- 1+ yrs. of data analytics experience.

- Good understanding of P&C Insurance concepts

- B.Tech/B.E or Masters in Statistics/Economics/OR from tier 1 colleges / universities.

- Key technical skills: SAS, R, SPSS, VBA, SQL, CART, Statistical modelling, Insurance tools like Emblem, Rate Assessor, etc.

- Well-developed analytical, logical and problem solving skills

- Good communication (written and oral)

- Experience in P&C Insurance analytics (Claims, Pricing and Marketing) will be a plus.
