Consultant - Indirect Tax - CA

The incumbent will be responsible for :

- Dealing with the regulatory authorities (EOU/Excise/Service Tax)

- Execution and response to the clients routine/non-routine queries

- Drafting legal submissions with revenue authorities

- Routine periodic compliances (Execution and/or Review) under VAT/Excise/Service Tax/Custom Laws

- Research and note/report preparation on Indirect tax consulting assignments

- Handling the departmental assessments/audits

- Preparation of research note and other tasks in the area of Indirect Taxes

- Providing training/guidance/support to the team members

- Supervision/review of work performed by the team

- A Chartered Accountant with 0 - 1 year experience in Indirect Taxes.

- Practical Experience in Excise and Service Tax is must

- Good Drafting and Technical skills

- Candidates should have prior experience of consulting environment

- Prior Experience in departmental representation

- Should be familiar with Tax applicability PAN India.

- Should be open to late sittings & travelling.

Salary range - 5-6 LPA
