Financial Reporting - Design

Role Summary

The key responsibilities for this role include:

- Build and review design requirements based on IFRS 9 requirements both for IFRS and FINREP reporting

- Build and review design requirements based on GSIB reporting requirements

- Timely closure of requirements to ensure meeting overall IFRS9 project timelines

- Ensure Design relates with existing structure, nomenclatures and system rules

- Ensure closure of all queries related to design in a timely manner

- Maintaining adequate documentation/back-up to support design

Role Skill Requirements :

Technical :

- A strong background on financial reporting including IFRS and FINREP for banking institutions including a thorough understanding of related standards and principles

- Strong understanding of IFRS9, new FINREP and GSIB reporting requirements

- Prior experience on working on consolidation system design

- A good understanding of General Ledger & Sub-system platforms in a banking institution will be an advantage

- Understanding of banking products and their accounting treatments

- Strong MS Excel skills to enable manipulation and interpreting of high volume of data

- Overall experience of 3-5 years
