Consultant - Control Assurance - Consulting Firm

What you'll be working on

- Assist in the implementation and compliance of NIST security framework

- Supporting the risk team in the continuous enhancement of risk management, by leading in all areas of control assurance.

- Conduct risk assessments, track risks and provide advice around mitigation.

- Assist in the update and reviews of Company risk management security policies, solutions, standards, and processes

- Assist in the Identification, monitoring and evaluating Key Risk Indicators (KRI), Key Control Indicators (KCI) including thresholds to enable better oversight and understanding of dh operational risk exposure

- Supporting the risk assessment and control assurance processes, to include; collation, analysis, and assessments of risk metrics for risk updates to business management and quarterly risk and compliance committee

- Performing detailed risk assessments on business initiatives relating to the various activities that Company undertakes, ensuring that risk activities are signed off at the correct level within the organisation

What we expect from you

- An interest in Risk, Security and Technology and how it can be secured

- A good understanding of Risk Management and overall security Governance

- Good understanding of Microsoft Office programs such as Excel and Word

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in an Information Security, Risk or Computer Science or related field

- An understanding of the importance of Risk Management in information security

- Experience working with global security frameworks and industry standard tools for Governance, Risk and Compliance

- Most important of all a willingness to learn
