Construction Planning Manager (Pharma)

- Responsible for providing technical field office support to the Construction Management team. Independently performs a wide variety of tasks related to coordination and management of process and purification systems, laboratory and facilities' operation, engineering, and construction;

- Coordinates permitting; administers design and construction contracts; coordinates complex construction and engineering projects.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :

- Manage Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) projects

- Assist in the supervision of the construction work

- Participate in Pre-Construction

- Participate in Procurement and Expediting

- Scheduling and Budgeting participation

- Change and Cost Control Management

- Overall Field Project Management and Site Supervision on assigned projects

- Day to Day field coordination

- Interaction and coordination with clients' representative

- Safety and Quality Control

- Invoice review

- Closeout and Punch lists

Qualification And Experience :

i. BE 10+ years of experience in the construction of pharmaceutical projects, design-build projects, Engineer, Procure and Construct (EPC) and owner's representative projects is required

ii. Strong understanding of project design and construction planning integration, and the collaborative process between architect, general contractor / contractors, and client.

iii. Working knowledge of the construction process, its standards, methods, assemblies, plans, specifications, regulations, and codes.

iv. Working knowledge of accepted accounting principles and project cost-accounting practices.

v. Project planning certification and professional memberships - Optional

vi. Experienced with cGMP spaces, construction phasing and organization of building components

vii. Ability to understand and integrate contractual obligations into project control tools
