CONSTRUCTION MANAGER / SITE CO-ORDINATOR (SITE BASED)


Educational Qualifications:


- Bachelor's degree in the field of engineering (Mechanical preferred)

- Master's degree in the field of engineering (preferred)

Professional Certifications : PMP (preferred)

Skills:

- A proven work experience as a Construction Manager of Oil & Gas in a similar organization

- Strong writing and record-keeping abilities. Strong IT skills. Strong communication, planning & organizing skills

- Exceptional leadership skills. Ability to lead and drive the project. Ability to garner Client and Management support and confidence.

Experience:

- 5 + years of specific experience

- 15 + years of overall professional experience

Language:

- English (fluent)

- Arabic (preferred)

Purpose of the job: Responsible for the day-to-day management and administration of the assigned project construction activities in the Oil & Gas Division of the Construction BU. Responsible for ensuring productivity targets, financial objectives & KPIs as set are achieved.

Key Responsibilities & Activities:

1. Responsible for all day-to-day management and administration of the assigned project in the Oil & Gas Division of the Construction BU and associated activities such as but not limited to projects construction, operations, planning and delivery, project P&L, project QHSE matters etc.

2. Responsible for day-to-day program planning and delivery; identifying key issues, constraints & critical paths; setting and achieving key milestones; driving program progress; issuing various reports and giving overall direction to the project

3. Responsible for all external stakeholder management with Clients, Subcontractors, Consultants, Regulators & Governmental authorities. Responsible for driving engaging and result-oriented discussions with stakeholders and bringing solutions and progress to the table

4. Responsible for all internal stakeholder management with HR, PEL, Commercial & Contracts, HSE, Quality, Finance and other associated corporate and Divisional functions to ensure project delivery as per set program and contract expectations. Responsible for ensuring that project related issues and concerns are addressed by routine engagement with respective functions

5. Responsible for ensuring all build costs and associated revenue are accurately planned, forecasted, captured and reported

6. Responsible for all individual and certain project-specific productivity targets, KPIs and attainment thereof.
