Position : Construction Manager-MEP

Location : Oman, Muscat

Experience : 12 years+

Education : Degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering

- Gulf experience is Mandatory

Job Description :

- Liaises with Design Manager/MEP Project Managers/Co-coordinators/Engineers.

- Co-ordinate MEP activities with the Civil Project Managers for smooth functioning of the site work.

- Attends weekly/Fortnightly progress meeting with Client/Consultant.

- Carries out Weekly internal progress review meetings and drawing review & Design co-ordination meeting with the MEP Design Managers and MEP Project Managers.

- Follow up with consultants for drawings and material approvals and assist purchase department in obtaining the required approvals.

- Ensure that Distribution Board Schedule, Heat Load calculations, Duct Sizing, chilled water pipe sizing, fire sprinkler, water supply and drainage pipe sizing etc. are properly carried out by the Design Department if required by the contract.

- Visits site on a daily basis and ensures that the work carried out on the specification and workmanship of the installation is to the acceptable standard.

- Ensure all inspection and commissioning reports are submitted to the consultant for approvals and that final approval is obtained on the report.

- Ensure all "As-Built" Drawings are submitted immediately upon completion of the works and approvals are obtained for the same.
