About our Client - My client is a leading integrated healthcare provider operating across the Asia Pacific region. It is one of the few profit making giants with rapid expansion plans. With its presence for more than a decade, it is one the most trusted and known brand for its focus on patient wellness and care. Owing to a long term vision of growth and scalability, my client is making radical changes in its current systems. It is restructuring itself to work in a centralized manner rather than current unit wise functioning. Hence, they need an Accounting manager who will be responsible to strategies structure and implement this change.

Job Description :

- My client's business is high on capital and majorly driven by cash. Currently, it has a decentralized functioning where accounting is done at each unit separately. Moving forward, it is necessary to have a centralized system for Accounts.

- Reporting into CFO, the person is required to Leading the change for centralizing Accounting as a function and reduce the manual work

- Strategies and act to extract accounting from silos and making it consolidated Accounting and Reporting for the head office

- Interacting and Liaison with other finance / non-finance teams around the group regarding head office costs Preparing / reviewing monthly and annual reporting and assisting the auditors

- Ad hoc projects - examples have included group controls, process improvement projects and accounting for group re-financing's

- Provides Technical and domain expertise

- Undertake varied projects and commercial analysis as time permits.

- Ensure adequacy/effectiveness of Financial controls both at Operational and Process levels

- Able to come up with a solution to streamline the process from registering the invoice to payments

The Successful Candidate :

- You must be a Chartered Accountant (1st Attempt) with 10 - 12 years of experience.

- An experience in restructuring the organization and consolidating the functions is a must.

- You should be extremely hands on in accounting and reporting with working knowledge of IFRS and USGAAP. You should have prior experience of working on an ERP(Oracle preferred). Similar experience in start up is add on.
