Position: Product Development Manager

Requirement: 1 position

Position Summary:

- Work closely with the product manager and business analysts and understand the product backlog & priorities

- Arrive at reliable estimates for development / enhancement items

- Publish release plans based on priorities, capacity, and work effort

- Define and implement solid product configuration management plan

- Define and implement a robust quality assurance process and ensure delivery of bug free and regression issue free releases to product customers

- Ensure that development team has all the necessary specifications and resources required

- Collaborate with the product manager and help in planning product roadmap, upgrade plans

- Be responsible for performance and career development of the product engineering team

Preferred Skills:

- Clear understanding of product development life cycle and agile methodology

- Experience of leading an engineering team and making successful deliveries

- Ability to take a holistic view and carefully balance between product team and engineering team

- Ability to define and implement lean and efficient development and testing process

- Familiarity with .net / Java development stack

- Strong communication, presentation and negotiation skills

- Be passionate and champion product development

- Be a leader capable of motivating and inspiring the team towards realizing the product vision

Qualification / Experience:

- Any Degree: UG/PG

- Minimum 12 to 16 years
