We're looking for a Portfolio Operation Head that will help us go live and operationalize our world class products.
At Yabx, you will be working across a multi-culture, multi-country team and collaborating with Business Teams, Financial Analysts, Data Scientists, Engineering Teams etc.
The base location is Kampala (Uganda). Candidates should be flexible to travel.

ROLE SPECS
Role Expectations
- Program management in Existing Programs
o Interact and manage relationship with Customer CXOs and Marketing Heads
o Spearhead and manage relationships with Banks and Mobile Wallet Networks across organization hierarchy of various functions like business, product and operations to manage day-to-day business engagement of Yabx
o Effectively articulate product value proposition.
o Negotiate, agree and maintain & monitor agreements with the client within company's policy guidelines.
- Skills/Technical Expertise around Running Loan Program Operations
o Build and maintain a solid understanding of our portfolio, strategy, operations, performance and revenue generation.
o Outline process flows, define operating rules and policies, responsibilities and performance metrics.
o Monitoring Portfolio performance and driving growth
o Lead monthly performance reviews with the client.
o Effectively interface with YABX's technical team, product management team, R&D team and the client to deliver outcomes for the client.

- Good deductive skills - studying business data reports, gathering information, evaluating output requirements and formats
Functional
- 3+ years of experience in Banking and Financial Services or FinTech
- Prior experience in launching financial services products in the market
- Prior experience in working with mobile wallets/mobile money
- Prior experience with mobile financial services, and mobile money integrations specifically
- Expert at driving customer communications even in ambiguous setting
- Exposure to GTM and driving service adoption
- Hands-on experience in revenue enhancement and project delivery
