Compliance Supervisor - Manufacturing/Real Estate/Auto

Role Overview:

Responsibilities include:

a) Ensuring timely review and payment of statutory dues like TDS, Service Tax, Income Tax, WCT.

b) Ensuring various statutory returns like TDS return, Service Tax return, Income Tax returns are reviewed and deposited on timely basis.

c) Ensuring compliance to Companies Act including filing the necessary forms, returns with MCA on a timely basis.

d) Preparing / reviewing schedules / statements for assessments by tax authorities.

e) Liaison with tax consultants to support various tax assessments and Transfer Pricing Study.

f) Interface with statutory and tax auditors to support audit team for completion of audits in the stipulated timelines.

g) Coordinates with Managers / Supervisors from other groups to ensure that information required, for statutory compliances, are obtained and provided in a timely manner.

Basic Qualifications:

- Bachelor Degree in Accounting.

- Chartered Accountant preferably from Big 4 accounting firms (Deloitte, KPMG, PwC & E&Y).

- 4-6 years of experience in handling taxation and accounting.

- Thorough knowledge of various regulations including Corporate Income Tax, Expatriate taxation, Companies Act, Service Tax, Excise & Customs Act, International Taxation.

- Basic knowledge of Accounting Standards and basic accounting principles

- Basic skills in the areas of oral and written communications, MS Office suite of applications (e.g. Word, Excel, Outlook).

- Good analytical skills.

- The ideal candidate must possess good organization skills, ability to provide constant attention to detail, and have ability to apply quality control over a heavy volume work with tight deadlines.

- Candidate is expected to maintain confidentiality of all information entrusted to the position.
