Compliance Officer - CS/LLB
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement compliance policies and procedures in alignment with regulatory requirements for NBFC operations.
- Conduct regular risk assessments and audits to ensure adherence to legal and regulatory standards.
- Stay updated on changes in financial regulations and communicate updates to the leadership team.
- Collaborate with internal departments to integrate compliance considerations into business processes.
- Prepare and submit regulatory reports as required by relevant authorities.
- Respond to regulatory inquiries and manage relationships with regulatory bodies.
- Conduct training sessions for employees to promote a culture of compliance awareness.
- Investigate and address compliance issues, providing recommendations for corrective action.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Law, Finance, or related field; CS/CA qualification is mandatory.
- Minimum of 4-5 years of specific RBI compliance experience.
- Over 7 years of overall experience in a compliance role within the financial sector, particularly with Banks/ NBFCs.
- In-depth knowledge of Indian financial regulations and compliance frameworks.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
