Role Description

Role Name - Manager - Compliance

Role Summary - Key responsibility is to monitor and supervise IGT compliance framework system among IGT Group

Reporting Manager - Direct Report - Deputy General Counsel, IGT

Other Work Relations - Functional Heads / Managers (Regulatory, Legal, Business Development, Asset Management/ Site O&M M&A, Finance), Auditors

Role Grade-Manager - M2

Role Position - CFO - 3

Role's Key Responsibilities

(a) Management of IGT's Compliance Governance Framework

(b) Upgradation of compliance framework in line with organization growth & restructuring

(c) Monitoring and supervising IGT's compliance monitoring system

(d) Liaising with third party service providers on strategic assignments for enhancement of compliance programmes

(e) Review of all compliance tasks mapped to IGT Group

(f) Regularly assess the efficiency of control systems and recommend effective improvements.

(g) Review and evaluate company procedures and reports to identify hidden risks or common issues.

(h) Coordinate with different department managers to review all departmental compliance policies

(i) Conduct internal audits and reviews at regular intervals to ensure that compliance procedures are regularly followed

(j) Ensure all the tasks are done with higher accuracy. They have to ensure that all the employees are thoroughly updated about the organization's policies, regulations, and processes

(k) Suggest/advise the management regarding the implementation of compliance programs

(l) Adhere to the training and supervising the staff that needs attention to compliance policies

(m) Revise rules, reports, and procedures at regular intervals to recognize the risks

(n) Identification, analysis, planning, monitoring, reporting, and controlling risks

(o) Coordinating with all stakeholders to receive inputs on compliance tasks

(p) Lead employee training sessions on legal and compliance issues.

(q) Supervise compliance officers and team

(r) Revising procedures, reports etc. periodically to identify hidden risks or non-conformity issues

(s) Draft, modify and implement company policies

(t) Keep abreast of regulatory developments within or outside of the company as well as evolving best practices in compliance control

(u) Prepare reports, presentation and MIS for senior management and Board

(v) Customization of compliance framework which will suit to the structure and operations of IndiGrid

(w) Identify new trends in compliance function and global benchmarking followed by necessary adoption of practices at organization

Travel Requirements Frequent - about 40% of time

Base location- Mumbai
