Job Description:   Secretarial :   - Preparation & maintenance of Secretarial Records, Statutory Books & Registers of all group companies.  - Drafting of the Board and General Body Resolutions, Notices, Agendas and Minutes of the Board.  - E-filing with RoC / MCA of all compliance forms/annual report/annual return within stipulated time.  Legal & Compliance :   - Experience in overseeing direct and indirect tax (i.e. Income Tax, Sales Tax, Service Tax and Customs Duty) compliance of company/group companies in current (preferred) or previous role is mandatory!  - Coordinating with consultants for filing of returns i.e. monthly/quarterly/annual returns as may be required under direct and indirect tax act.   - Appearing before Assessing Officers and appellate tribunal for the matters relating to direct and indirect tax.  - Appearing before courts on behalf of the company as and when required.  - RBI Compliance.  - Liaising with Bank for various bank transaction such as remittance, opening of bank accounts, changing of signatory etc.  Functional skills: (job specific) :   - Superior administrative skills  - Good research and analytical skills  - Ability to manage excessive work load.  - Good writing skills with exceptional minute taking, drafting of resolutions and memorandums.  - Ability to work under pressure without compromising on the quality of deliverables.  Behavioral competencies :  - Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.  - Influential - need to get management to buy into compliance.  - Good interpersonal skills to manage relationships traverse the organization
