Job Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with the Companies Act, 2013, and other relevant legislation
- Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements imposed by RBI, SEBI, Stock Exchanges, Depositories, and other sectoral regulators
- Prepare, conduct, and finalize Board Meetings and General Meetings, including drafting accurate meeting minutes
- Assist and advise the Board on corporate governance practices and ensure compliance with corporate governance requirements and best practices
- Develop and maintain a robust statutory compliance mechanism, including the preparation of a compliance manual and tracker
- Provide periodic updates and advice to the Management and Board regarding compliance matters
- Collaborate with the finance and business teams to handle compliance-related issues and regulatory scrutiny effectively
- Oversee the timely filing of required forms, reports, and documents under various applicable laws
Job Requirements:
- Educational Qualification - CS
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in compliance management, NBFC experience will be preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and an organized approach to work, ensuring accuracy and completeness in compliance activities
- Should have the ability to provide the required leadership to his/her team to achieve corporate goals
- In-depth understanding of corporate governance principles and practices
- Demonstrates integrity and discretion when handling confidential information
- Diplomatic and confident in providing support to management staff and board members
