Company Secretary cum Chartered Accountant

MNC company located at Patalganga, near Panvel.

Roles and Responsibilities :

1. Report to the India Head - Finance & Accounts and lead a 2 - 3 member team in the preparation of all financial accounts and balance sheet for Management and statutory purposes.

2. Prepare and monitor the liquid capital balances (Cash, Inventories and Receivables) and ensure minimum levels are maintained as per operational requirements.

3. Budgeting and Forecasting of revenue, expenses and preparation of MIS statement.

4. WIP Valuation, Prepare month end WIP valuation for accurate monthly closing and reporting.

5. Handle banking work related to Import / Exports ( Advance License, Duty Drawback, etc ), Overdraft, Working Capital loans, etc.

6. Prepare Audit schedules and participate in the Internal Audit process and liaise with the external Auditor.

7. Supervise monthly bank reconciliation and ledger scrutiny of accounts.

8. Handle all tax related work through effective tax planning measures and attend assessment, appeals, etc.

9. Handle all Statutory compliances ( ROC, VAT, GST, PT & TDS) and facilitate payroll processing.

10. Manage various regulatory functions independently or through designated consultants

11. Perform a business advisory role to the board and guiding them on corporate laws, corporate governance, legal matters, etc

Desired Candidate Profile :

Applicants should be aged around 27 to 35 years with a CA & ICSI membership and 3 - 7 years work experience. Aspirants should have experience of working in a mid size manufacturing company. They should have knowledge of balance sheet preparation, costing and all types of tax matters. Exposure to working on SAP. Hana is preferred.
