Company Secretary - BFSI - LLB

Key role of the candidate is to carry out the compliances under the Companies Act, 2013 and other applicable laws, handling legal cases, ensuring compliances under applicable insurance laws for corporate agents, drafting of various agreements, etc. The candidate will also work with the COO for central functions involving Board reporting and internal communications.

Key responsibilities :

- Drafting of Agenda and Minutes of the Meetings and Annual Report Documents

- Convening board/committee and shareholder meetings and handling compliances thereto

- Compliances under Companies Act, 2013 and POSH, ROC and other statutory filings, maintenance of statutory registers

- Filing of annual returns of the Company

- Filing and renewal of NOC's and other statutory licenses.

- Periodic inspections by IRDAI, PFRDA and other regulators, if applicable.

- Drafting and vetting legal agreements

- Assist in preparation of Board & internal presentations

- Handling project/partner documentation etc.

Desired profile :

- A Company Secretary and LLB with 2-3 years' work experience, preferable in financial sector.

- Good written and verbal communication skills.

- Analytical thinking skills with the ability to work with basic financial applications.

- A good team player having the ability to work and adapt to diverse sets of people.

- Must project a mature & respectful attitude at work and with the other stakeholders
