Purpose :   To manage communications in both directions and is responsible for all communications, PR, social media, events, and content creation, among other things.  Responsibilities  - Content Creation – posting blogs, articles, newsletters, communication materials, etc. for social media channels.  - Social Media Marketing – creating, managing & growing the company’s presence in social media, via blogs, Facebook, Twitter, etc. social media channels.  - Planning & Managing Events – Planning & managing meet up events for your community. Attending similar industry events.  - Public Relations – managing incoming media requests and building relationships with industry journalists.  - Media Campaigns – creating, executing & measuring media campaigns  - Customer Relations – often a point of contact for customer support, managing online feedback forums.  - Communication/Marketing Strategy – responsible for creating & executing strategic Marketing/Communications plans to provide direction to company’s communications for public.  - Analytics – should be able to provide reports on metrics using analytics tools like Google Analytics.
