This opportunity is for Communication Manager role with an International School, based at Mumbai.  Opportunity is for individual passionate on communication role, ready to take on challenging opportunity with higher responsibility of communications role.  International qualification & work experience is added advantage.  Job Role:   The Communication Manager will serve a critical role in leading internal and external communications including public relations and media activities for the school.   Skills :  - Superior verbal and written English skills   - A strong aesthetic sense and creative design ability  - Understanding of and experience with print and web publishing  - High proficiency in the use of social technology tools   - Familiarity with content management systems and constituent relations management  - Excellent interpersonal and listening skills, as well as the ability to empathize  - Highly organized, detail oriented, and able to effective manage multiple projects  Qualifications :  - 3 or more years experience in a communications, marketing, or related filed in the corporate or education sectors  - Bachelor's or further degree in Communications, Marketing, Mass Communication, Media and Communications, or related field  Performance Areas:  Strategy:  - Develop and manage a communications strategy which continually informs and updates stakeholders of our Mission, strategic goals, and activities.   Print Publications:  - Oversee the production of publications for internal or external use such as handbooks, calendars, school profile and other materials as needed  - Research and monitor print publication trends   - Serve as internal consultant on school-wide materials as necessary (passes, tickets, posters, stationery, etc.)  Marketing:  - Create print advertisements where necessary  - Website content writing and coordination (for timeliness and consistency)  - Website visibility (SEO, SMO), Online Reputation Management (ORM), and Social Technology engagement in collaboration with the Technology Department  - Research and monitor trends in advertising and marketing  Public Relations:  - Monitor local and international news channels for articles pertaining to the school  - Recommend avenues or touch points in which the school should have a presence relative to its target audiences  - Draft/write articles/press-releases for school  Internal Communications:  - Develop strategies to pro-actively communicate relevant information to internal stakeholders  - Educate constituencies on ways and means to access information from the school in collaboration with the Technology Department  - Lead workshops on various communications related tools and functions.
