Human Resource Manager

Key responsibilities of the HR Manager:

- Maintains the work structure by updating job requirements and job descriptions for all positions.

- Maintains and enhances the organization's human resources by planning, implementing, and evaluating employee relations and human resources policies, programs, and practices.

- Recruitment & retention - managing talent and succession planning; taking overall responsibility for recruitment activity and campaigns

- Employee Relations.

- Responsible for new hire, termination, and change of status forms with payroll. Serve as employee liaison to assist in problem resolution with issues related to benefit deductions and pay.

- Employee satisfaction and identify areas that require improvement

- Performance Management coaching managers on performance management issues and processes

- Ensures planning, monitoring, and appraisal of employee work results by training managers to coach and discipline employees; scheduling management conferences with employees; hearing and resolving employee grievances; counseling employees and managers.

- Learning & Development providing guidance on development for managers and their teams

- Training - Implementing the training and development agenda; identify areas that need attention and improvement

- Reward advise and support employees on company benefits

- Policy & procedures implementation of new HR policies, procedures and processes

- Maintains management guidelines by preparing, updating, and recommending human resource policies and procedures.

- Working with senior managers and advising on all people issues

- Deal with complex disciplinary/grievance and HR issues, using HR and company knowledge evidencing appropriate decision making skills

- Managing HR budgets

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Communication, Psychology, or other similar degree.

- Eight plus years of work experience as an HR Generalist or Senior Generalist.

- Experience of dealing with senior employees and sometimes challenging individuals.

- Ability to build rapport quickly with key members of the executive team.
