Commodity Arbitrage Trader - BFSI

JD for the Commodity Arbitrage Trader Role :

The Role requires developing & Trading spreads in global Commodities

Role would have below major expectations :

- Trading various Commodities listed on Indian Exchanges and Global Exchanges like LME / CME etc

- Developing new trading strategies in global commodity listed in other local CCY

- Developing Spread trades (ladder trading) in global Commodities (primarily base metals)

Principal responsibilities :

- Trading various Commodities listed on Indian Exchanges and Global Exchanges like LME / CME etc

- Analyzing and researching on other global commodities to locate new spread trading strategies (Eg: Triangular Arb in local ccy)

- Understanding of Currency management in the case of strategies which has multiple legs and ccy exposure

- Owning End to End Execution from developing strategies, taking internal approvals, execution and management of the trades

Key skills for the role :

- Excellent academic record in a subject with a strong Mathematical along with sound Macro-Economic understanding

- Strong Track record in trading multiple commodities and currencies. Spread trading experience highly preferable

- Strong Analytical & Trading mindset

- Strong understanding of the Currency market and its role in hedging any ccy exposure

- Ability to communicate ideas clearly and work well in a cross-disciplinary team.
