Designation:Manager Liabilities / Casualty - Commercial Lines - Profit Centre Role

Grade: Deputy Manager/Manager

Salary: Hike based upon the current Salary

Job Profile:

- Liability lines include the following 3 verticals: Casualty (Public and Products liability Insurance), Crisis Management (Product Recall, Contaminated Product Liability and Corporate Kidnap and Ransom Insurance) and Environment Impairment Lines ( Pollution Legal Liability Insurance)

- The role incumbent is responsible for strategizing on products, markets, distribution, delivery, overall Portfolio management and loss control

- Responsible for strategizing & implementing innovative business solutions to ensure enhanced market penetration.

- The profit centre is responsible for creating & sustaining a leadership position in the market by virtue of underwriting capabilities, innovation & adherence to the compliance standards levied by the regulators.

- They are also responsible for the risk, limits & coverages for the organization. Profit centres are the business drivers in the specified line of business, thus influencing the organizational vision & revenues.

- Role incumbent is also responsible for appropriate delegation of underwriting authorities among the team members & ensure diligent use of such authority by them

- Role incumbent has responsibility of managing a pan-India team of underwriters, charting career paths for them and also succession planning at different levels
