COMMERCIAL HEAD
PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
Responsible for Commercial Strategy, Budget Preparation, Order Intake, Gross margin deviation on booking, Sales Function
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- To drive Pipeline growth across segments and regions
- To build customer relationship, define long term commercial strategies
- Fortnightly order push & Risk & Opportunities meeting with Local & PL Management
- Planning for Annual Budget, Yearly Mutual Commitment Agreement (YMCA), Quarterly Forecast, and Commercial action plan
- Timely delivery of quality Tenders, commercial negotiation and order booking
- Continuously assess the workload of the department and manage head count
- Target Price preparation & Close coordination with Country Commercial team
- Development of Sales and tendering team
People Management
- Lead and manage the team to ensure performance standards, annual objectives, policies and procedures are met
- Ensure the team has the right level of know-how and competency to perform their responsibilities and achieve their targets through coaching and development
- Regularly manage and review performance of employees as per the process
Experience
MBA Preferred
Bachelor of Electrical/ Electronic Engineering with 12-20 Years of experience in SCADA/EMS/DMS and Telecom equipment
Qualification in Marketing & Sales (preferred)
Experience in selling SMART GRID solutions, will be an added advantage
Essential
Software Solution Sales experience in Power industry
