Commercial Head - Media Industry

1. An experienced Commercial professional, should have worked in relevant industry and exposed to strong commercial budgeting and operations with highest levels execution standards for the production house.

2. He should be able to draw up a budget for the pre-production, production and post-production like costs for developing of the script, acquiring the underlying rights, producer fees, payments to key talent, rental fees, studio time, crew costs. It also includes all financing costs, including interest and fees, all legal fees, etc.

3. Negotiations with commercial department of Clients and individuals.

4. Detailed understanding of the TV/Digital/Indoor/Outdoor production and competitive benchmarking for the same.

5. Planning and Implementation of various cost-optimizing strategies.

6. Developing new, competitive and reliable business partners, service providers, vendors.

7. Liaise with Finance, Legal, Production and Business teams and various other verticals

8. Managing margins and profitability by ensuring realistic budgeting and adhering to the cost targets.

9. Budgeting and understanding of the market landscape.

10. Ensuring execution of Production jobs as per the defined quality parameters.

11. Pre and Post-Show evaluation, analysis and producing reports for various stakeholders.

12. Expert knowledge of operations (transactional processing / agreement processing / inventory management / collections management)

13. Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of industry developments and competitions.

14. Strong understanding of budgeting especially for large and small format production.
