Responsibilities:
- Conduct detailed legal research and analysis to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations, particularly in the education sector.
- Draft and review a wide range of legal documents, including contracts, agreements, policies, and other legal correspondence, ensuring accuracy and legality.
- Provide expertise in drafting documents related to various facets of the organization's operations, such as licensing agreements, terms of service, privacy policies, and more.
- Collaborate with internal teams to gather necessary information and ensure that drafted documents align with the company's objectives and legal requirements.
- Offer legal guidance and recommendations to stakeholders on drafting procedures, legal implications, and potential risks.
- Stay updated on changes in laws and regulations impacting the education industry to incorporate necessary changes into drafted documents.
- Maintain meticulous records of all drafted documents and ensure their accessibility and accuracy.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Law (LLB) from a recognized institution; additional qualifications or certifications in specialized legal drafting fields are preferred.
- Proven experience of 2-5 years as a Legal Advisor, with a primary focus on drafting legal documents within a corporate/legal firm setting.
- In-depth knowledge of drafting techniques, contract laws, and regulations in the education sector.
- Exceptional drafting skills with an emphasis on clarity, precision, and legal accuracy.
- Strong analytical and research skills with the ability to interpret complex legal documents.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in utilizing legal research tools and software for drafting purposes.
